things to do in Arizona for 10 days?
Some family went with a cousin to help her prepare for her going to college in Tucson. they have been there 5 days now and are terrrrribly bored. our cousin has friends so she is all busy and excited to start college with them so she is totally fine with them going off on their own without her. Their return flight isn't until the 23rd so please suggest fun things they can do for the next 10 days... all adults, no children. they are more than happy to go outside of Tucson. thank you!

Tucson is a great place with lots to do. You can hit the Saguaro National Park on the West side of town and stop at the old Tucson sound stage. Although it burned to the ground and has been rebuilt, many movie western was made right there. Also, you if you are into airplanes, visit the Pima air museum on the south side of Davis Monthan Air Force Base... Head down to Tombstone and take a walk thru town. Don't forget to stop at Boot Hill on the way in and read the tomb stones. Head a bit further south to Bisbee and step back into the 1920's. Have lunch at the Copper Queen Hotel, one of the best Haunted sites in Arizona. If you like wine, ride down to Patagonia and visit some of the winery's and stop in Tubac and visit some of the art studios..and on the way back up I-19, stop off at San Xavier church, one of the first built in the in North America. Also, if you want to see what an old ICBM missile silo looks like from the cold war years, you can also visit one off I-19 and buy your ticket at the Pima Air Museum. BTW, don't forget to take a ride up to the top of Mt Lemmon for a great view of the valley and head over west to Kitt Peak observatories and check out the Stars

I would suggest the Grand Canyon, Japanese Garden in Phoenix, and lots of hiking!
