I need to get from Tucson, AZ to Augusta, GA cheap and fast.?
I'm researching ways to get from Tucson, AZ to Augusta, GA cheap and fast. I plan to travel there at the end of May. I have already looked into flights, amtrak and greyhound. Do you any of you have any other ideas on how I could manage this trip on a tight budget. Please don't provide options where I will be putting my life on the line. Thanks.

this could be an option. On craigs list I found a group of people that were car pooling from texas to montana. I know it sounds risky and it is but back in the day I took that risk and I was pleasantly surprised at the life long friends I have. Possibly someone is in the same shoes you are and needs to get there, check around on craigslist. But please be careful. When I did it, no one knew each other and we ended up renting a 18 person van and getting to know one an other but then when we got to our destination the person driving dropped us off where we needed to be (different cities) and after a week or so we met up and went home.. It was pretty cheap if I remember right it was like 50-75 bucks round trip. But the drive was LONG!!!! good luck.
