You need to do the research yourself, but it looks like Tucson to London in July will cost about $1200 round trip. The three letter code for Tucson's airport is TUS and there are two primary international airports in London - Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW). Flying to Gatwick is a bit less expensive than to Heathrow. Flying during mid-week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) usually also saves a bit, and most travel & airline websites let you select "search +/- 1 day" to see if there are better fares. Check travel sites like www.airgorilla.com and www.travelocity.com in addition to the airline websites. Regarding which airline is best, Your primary choices departing Tucson appear to be American (www.aa.com), Continental (www.continental.com), United (www.united.com), and US Airways (www.usairways.com). Those are also all about the same price, so you should look to see which one has the best schedule for you. Delta Airlines (www.delta.com) can also fly you to London-Gatwick from Tucson, and their lowest fares are about $100 less that the others. However, all of their lower-cost flights require two stops and some have long layovers. Join the frequent flier program for whichever one you choose. A round trip to London is a good start towards a free ticket.
